Professionalism
and quality
It is fair to say that the price of interpreting and translation service reflects its quality. We all know that cheap comes at a high price. Most translation companies won't disclose their prices until you inquire, but at Fox & Eight, our prices are clearly stated, and we provide high-quality services that match our prices.
It is one thing to have an interpreter license or certification, but it is far more important to maintain and improve quality. At Fox & Eight, we strive to improve the quality of our services by constantly updating us on new information in our respective fields. In addition, the final check of the English translation is always done by a native English speaker to ensure that the final product is accurate, easy to understand, and of high quality.
We translate as little as one sentence. There is no such thing as too little. We also propose a clear deadline and always meet it. Please tell us if you have a tight schedule. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.
Profile
FOX&EIGHT The founder
Certified NAATI Interpreter
Sakiko Fox
Hello, I am Sakiko Fox, the founder and the translator of Fox & Eight.
I am a certified Japanese-English interpreter (NAATI -National Accreditation for Australian Interpreters) and a translator. I have covered various fields such as medical, pharmaceutical, constructions and manufacturing industries.
After studying in San Diego, California, I moved to Australia and worked at American Express. While working at the company, I obtained the interpreting qualification and started my career as a freelance interpreter/translator.
After 20 years in Australian, I relocated myself back to Japan with my family in 2013, and am currently living at the foot of Mt. Fuji. I practice Japanese tea ceremony which is such a great way to switch off my brain! For your overseas clients, interpreting service in Kimono is also available.
My work includes medical research papers, various corporate documents, manuals, contracts, websites in many different industries. As a translator, my learning path never comes to ends and I am still brushing up my knowledge and skills every day.
